AABB is an international, not-for-profit organization representing individuals and institutions involved in the field of transfusion medicine and biotherapies. The association works collaboratively to advance the field through the development and delivery of standards, accreditation and education programs.

This scholarship is for students who are enrolled or have recently completed (within the past calendar year) a program leading to Specialist in Blood Banking certification in an AABB-accredited institution.

Application Procedure

Applicants must submit an original paper in one of three categories:

A scientific paper reporting experimental work, an analytical or interpretational review on transfusion medicine topics suitable for publication in a professional journal, or an innovative educational syllabus on transfusion medicine topics using traditional or advanced technology modalities.
